Summary

Purpose

This course provides students with basic knowledge on multimedia and multimedia systems. Students will have the opportunity to learn the basic principles of multimedia compression including video, audio and data compression. Besides, students will study basic issues and technologies for some typical multimedia networks. Attendees are offered opportunities to further develop their team-working, technical documentation, and presentation capabilities.
